Celebrate 55 Years of the Annapolis Boat Shows with Chesapeake Classic Yacht Charters VIP Charter Experience

October is right around the corner, and with it comes one of the most iconic nautical events in the world: The United States Sailboat and Powerboat Shows. The excitement in town is palpable as thousands of boating enthusiasts from around the world tour our small town and visit the shows over two back-to-back weekends. From its humble beginning of just 51 sailboats at Annapolis City Dock in 1970, the Boat Shows have evolved over the past five and a half decades into a world renowned maritime event drawing more than 100,000 visitors to our small town. Its unique in-water expo concept was the first of its kind in the century and has blossomed into the world’s largest in-water boat show, showcasing hundreds of vessels in the Annapolis Harbor. Boaters can board the latest sail and powerboat models and browse and purchase boating equipment, foul weather gear, electronics, nautical instruments, book charters, attend educational workshops, and participate in sea trials. Boaters can also speak with industry representatives and experts to answer all of their questions regarding buying, owning, and maintaining a boat.
